The Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur, is undergoing a major expansion to double its annual free eye surgery capacity from 30,000 to 60,000. The new facility, spread over two acres of land, will be inaugurated on November 9, 2025. The hospital will serve millions of people in the districts of Guntur, Prakasam, Krishna, Ongole, and Amravathi.

The Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur, has served the people of Andhra Pradesh for more than two decades, and as a premier institution, provided high-quality eye care to over 10 million people.
