Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana, is a super-specialty eye care facility established in 2012. Spread over 55,000 sq. ft. on a two-acre complex, the 125-bed hospital provides treatment for all major sub-specialties in ophthalmology.
The hospital was inaugurated in the presence of the Sankaracharya of Kanchi, Jayendra Saraswati. It provides critical eye care to 22 districts of Punjab, serving the rural underprivileged in the remote areas of Punjab. Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana has conducted 2,013 camps, screened 5,06,761 patients, and performed 1,02,965 surgeries.
